Our Best Friends Rescue Does It Again: This Adorable, Sweet Dog Was Plucked From A Kill Shelter And Needs A Home

by Jon Katz

Her temporary name is Ruth-Bader-Ginsburg.

Our Best Friends rescue is looking to find her a permanent home. She’s a young female schnauzer mix, quite adorable. She was plucked from a Texas kill shelter, extremely pregnant.

The puppies have all found homes, RBG needs one.

Tracy Snell of Old Best Rescue says she is shy at first, but warms up and is sweet to people and dogs.

She is housebroken and up to date with all of her vaccinations. She will be spayed before going to her permanent home.

She was a wonderful mom. Anyone interest should fill out an application on Our Best Rescue’s site.

I’ve teamed up with Old Best Rescue to try and get a special dog adopted every week. Tracy came on my radio show tonight and talked about Ruth-Bader-Ginsburg.

I am following that up with a blog post, a one-two punch we hope will get these dogs the home she deserves. It’s time I did more to help dogs as well as people.

If you are interested,  apply via the foster application on the website.

You can also reach Tracy on Facebook Messenger under “Tracy Snell”, or e-mail her at [email protected] or call her at 518 339 4630.

That photo is a heart melter.
