So I did. One of the absolute joys of my life is that I can go see and even kiss a donkey on the nose anytime I want to. I visit the donkeys two or three times a day, usually with a carrot or alfalfa cookie.
I come when I hear the special “Jon” bray, a soft wheeze two or three times. I often kiss Fanny on the nose (Lulu prefers to be scratched on the chin), but I’ve been kissing Fanny on the nose for years.
I love donkeys, they are the most wonderful creatures – smart, affectionate, willful. Kissing them on the nose is a blessing for me.
I got the itch for a donkey kiss yesterday, so I kissed Fanny right on her nose while Lulu waited to be scratched.
sooo cute an brought a good laugh.
Kiss my ass takes on a whole different meaning here. ?
nOTHING IS MORE SPECIAL THAN TO KISS YOU PET ON THE NOSE. YOU ARE -SO FORTUNATE!!!
I love donkeys so much. They are lovely animals.
It breaks my heart that they are also one of the most abused creatures on the planet. I have no kind words for those ( especially overweight ) tourists finding it necessary to ride donkeys on their holiday trips. Ashamed of the human race when I see these images.
…oh so miss my donks. Need to find some locals to visit. Thanks for the reminders of what wonderful creatures they are.??☺️ Wendy in Chico CA
