It is part of my great fortune to live with an artist; our home is a gallery and museum and record of two lives.
Maria’s creativity takes so many forms, but one is her passion for curating our windowsills – there isn’t a day when someone changes, is added, or watered, or hung, or taken down.
Today the sun shone brightly on our windows, and I took four photos of four different windowsills. Beauty is everywhere if you look for it.

Windowsill Gallery Three. Kitchen WIndow, Downstairs.
Windowsill Galery Three, Downstairs, bathroom
WIndowsill Gallery Four. Barn side, living room.
Each gallery tells a different story, Maria plans every stone, crystal, flower or pant in a given place for a reason. I almost never know what the reason is.
Lovely, and I love seeing the snow outside you house. 🙂
I love love love love it!!
Not only the windowsill art but also the fabric and color choices in your very special home.
You are indeed blessed, as I know you know!
I appreciate these photos so very much! Once I set up an area, there it stays for far too long. Love that Maria switches them often, and with such an artful (artFILLED) eye. Such a lovely array of beauty and creativity.
