SOS: Need Some Gift Card Help

by Jon Katz

I could use some gift card help. Food insecurity continues to be a problem for some of the Bishop Maginn families and several of the Mansion aides.
Thanks to the Army of Good, no one in either of these communities has gone without food this year.

But it’s sometimes a close call. I’ve finally gotten people to trust me and tell me when they are in trouble.

Any help would be appreciated. I’ve found that Wal-Mart cards are the easiest for people to buy and the easiest for the Mansion aides and refugee families to use.

You can buy the $50 cards here, there are also cards sold at other prices. The cards need to be sent to me, Jon Katz, 2502 State Route 22, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816.

You can also send a donation to me via Paypal, [email protected], or Venmo, [email protected] if you’d rather I buy the cards.

One time donations can also be sent via Paypal, [email protected] or by check, Mansion/Refugee Fund, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816.

I feel as if we are edging towards being a gentler, kinder country. Things are tense, but there is a different tone in the air.

These cards will help. Thanks for your support. I think we’re through the worst of it, but it will take a few more months for these people to settle.

We are insuring three healthy meals a day for these good people and their families.  Last year, I made a vow: none of these people would go hungry. So far, the promise has been kept.
