Every year, we both say emphatically that we aren’t giving any Valentine’s Day presents. It seems forced in many ways, we love each other all the time.
Every year, we get each other one or two Valentine’s Day presents, always given days or weeks before Valentine’s Day as if we are trying to separate ourselves from it.
Mine is in the mail, I can’t give it away yet. Maria found this heart-shaped succulent and gave it to me yesterday I do love it, it now lives on the windowsill in my study next to my iron crow.
Maria loves succulents, they are growing all over the farmhouse. We have no idea what this one will turn out to be.
What a sweet pot. The plant reminds me of a spinach leaf! I like the idea of giving a small gift ahead of the actual Valentine’s day. I think I may copy that idea. I love all the art collections around your house. I love my own little singing bowl, and I like your dragon. I know I would love to meet Maria, and you too of course.
My husband gave me one of those for Valentine’s 3 years ago…such a sweet little plant.
