I have a new sweet and favorite ritual on the farm, it’s the feeding of the Lambs. Maria goes into the barn and brings out a bucket with grain.

It helps our three new and skinny lambs – Scott, Merricat and Constance –  fatten up and stay warm in the cold.

It’s a burst of life and nurture and nature and connection. It’s why we both have chosen to live in nature and on a farm.
