Bud took the first shift with me this morning while I stayed in bed.
This afternoon, Zinnia took over and I’m lucky to have a trained therapy dog to watch over me this afternoon.
I appreciate recovering with dogs, they enrich and enhance the recovery process.
Zinnia climbed up on me and put her head on my shoulder, lifting her head every now and then to lick my nose. I call her Princess Sweet, she is all sweet.
She and I will be be happy when she can resume her therapy work at the Mansion and Bishop Maginn High School, sometime in May or June.
Dogs are like healing pills to me.
