So another challenge to the male ego and testosterone. I gave myself a good talking to after Maria gave me a good talking to and we all reached a compromise, satisfying to all.
Maria will do the paths, and I will do the cars and dig out the garbage cans. It took me four hours to get the front quarter of my car dugout, the plan is for me to dig out the driver’s side, go around and clear out the exhaust tubes and then start up the engine.
Vince, our plow person will be along today or tomorrow (it’s insane up here) and I just want to make sure the car battery doesn’t fade out. I doubt the car will be dug out until Sunday, Monday it is driving me to the hospital.
In between, I’m reading and napping. My knees asked me kindly to take it easy and take it slow. My heart isn’t saying much.
My car, parked on a city street, is plowed in. I hate that the most about city life.
It’s too bad you don’t have a garage for the cars. For years I didn’t have one. Now I do and it does really make a difference after a huge storm. I have a plow guy too, but I still have to shovel the steps and walkways. I wish you well and try not to overdo. You got hammered for sure.
It’s not a bit problem. we need to shovel four or five times a year, it’s good for both of us..I am getting a battery powered snow blower tho..
I snowshoe my paths for horse, dogs & birds, and
my daily dose of cardiovascular work too
great photos today of your big snowfall! Just incredible and very beautiful in its white way!. Something I have never (and don’t want to) experience! I was also wondering whether you did not have space in one of your barns for car parking? But…….. I trust you have thought of that! May your stoves keep you warm…….. you have good neighbors and a community that looks out for one another…………
