We are trying to fatten Merricat, one of our new lambs, up, he’s a little thin.

Maria has already trained him to come into the barn with her for some morning and evening grain. She has also trained the rest of the flock to mind their own business and stay outside.

Sometimes, he hangs out in the Pole Barn, wanting more. Maria doesn’t give him any more, he eventually goes out to get what he can off of the feeder.

It’s fun having a lamb, and she is a character. Animals on Bedlam Farm learn quickly that they need to pose for the camera. Almost all of them do, even the chickens.
