Issachar has learned a trick from his friends, Lulu And Fanny, our donkeys. When they want a treat, they just stick their heads through our fences and whine at me.

Issachar doesn’t whine, but he loves to stare balefully at me until I break down – as I always do for the donkeys –  and give him an alfalfa snack,

He’s one of our younger sheep and one of the sweetest, he loves people and dogs. Unlike most of our sheep, Issachar has an almost irresistible stare.
