The Mansion needs some help in making sure the locked-down residents have some stimulation and fun. It’s been a long hard year.

I suggested that they put up a new Amazon Mansion Wish List for games and puzzles.

As always, the list is short and inexpensive – 16 games and puzzles ranging in price from $8.97 to $49.89. There are jigsaw puzzles (eight) ranging from 200 to 500 pieces to pass the buck table games, skee-ball, and  a mini-cornhole, a dice cup and party games.

This will give the residents a lot of fun and new things to do. The Mansion aides have been heroic in trying to keep the residents stimulated – night parades, pajama days, costumes.

I’m buying pumpkins and carving kits for Halloween this weekend. These are the small acts of great kindness that make a difference, the aides are exhausted and the residents restless and anxious.
