Art is always happening at Bedlam Farm, one way or another. Yesterday, Maria invited me to come into her studio and  take a look at the very beginning work on a new hanging piece

It’s untitled, but I think it was inspired by something Maria wrote the other day: “I see with my own eyes,” which I thought both inspiring and beautiful.

The figure in the piece is holding a shield, and I was struck by her boots.

That’s as far as Maria has gotten, she’s hold up today in her studio, this one got into her head. It’s not nearly finished, nor is it yet for sale.
