Happy birthday, Robin. All I can remember about being four was having my tonsils taken out. You’re a wonderful child and a great human. I can’t wait to see you grow and blossom. Hope to see you soon, much love, me..the strange grandfather with donkeys.
I’m glad you got me the LED solar system and sun pillow I sent you.
I so enjoy the pictures of sweet Robin! That smile is just perfect! She is the same age as the younger of my granddaughters who turned 4 in May. These young mothers in Park Slope amaze me–my granddaughter has one of those green step ladders/standing platform, too. Her family acquired it when the older granddaughter was about 3. It helps little ones stand safely and watch and participate in the kitchen. Anyway, Park Slope is such a wonderful neighborhood for young families. Everyone seems so generous and well educated, an opinion based on their willingness to quietly place used good toys, games, and books outside on their stoops for anyone to come by and pick up for their own use. Such a good idea! Lots great stuff and no hassle of stoop sales (of course, that’s a thing, too)!
