The Tropical Storm rushing up the East Coast came to Bedlam Farm this afternoon, it was impressive. It’s my custom in a storm to go out and check on the animals, and I’m happy to say they are all cozy and dry in the rain and the wind.
The chickens are hiding under the roost, they’ll figure out how to get up inside soon. The sheep are lying in the back of the barn, the donkeys, ever cool and observant, are peeking outside.
They are warm and dry. But I am not any longer. Neither is Zinnia, who came out with me.
