Darlene Phillips from Salem’s Community cats, a warrior for feral and abandoned and lost cats and a new and welcome project of the Army of Good sent me some good news this morning:
“Dear Jon, Bubba went to his new home yesterday and his family is thrilled. They are newcomers to the area who were looking for a pet and found a perfect fit with Bubba. We’ve taken in 11 cats and kittens within the past week, all of whom will need nursing, fostering, and/or socialization before they are ready for adoption. Will keep you posted.”
Salem’s Community Cats has helped more than 100 feral and abandoned cats in the last year. Bubba is the first cat we’ve helped them adopted. I’m pleased to be supporting relief and support for the 70 million feral cats in America, who suffer greatly.
Darlene and her group do amazing work capturing, neutering and spaying and returning the feral cats to their trapping site. Thanks for your support.
They look to find foster care and permanent homes for their lost or abandoned cats. You can learn about the group here and e-mail Darlene at [email protected].
Thanks to the family who adopted Bubba, Maria loves this cat, says he is a great cat.
What great news…Bubba looks so sweet, glad he’s found a home!
