We’ve been trying to honor the heroes of the Mansion, the hard-working, underpaid health workers who have kept the coronavirus out of the Mansion through vigilance, scrubbing, and long hours.

Last week, we made a banner for them (below), this week a cake from Jean’s Place. A few days ago, I designed and ordered some bumper stickers, one for each aide: the stickers say The Mansion, Heroes Work Here.

And it’s true, they do. I can’t say enough about how much admiration I have for the work they do and the people they are. I’ll drop these stickers off tomorrow, Tuesday morning.

Congratulations, good people, you are heroes.
