Our “Heroes Work Here” banner honoring the Mansion aides is almost done, Maria just wants to make some holes on top so it won’t sag when we hang it up.

We’ll bring it to the Mansion Sunday morning, bang some holes in the ground and leave.

The virus has challenged all of us, some more directly than others Health care workers were very much on the front lines, many of them ordinary people, underpaid and taken for granted.

This country doesn’t have a lot of money right now to do them justice, we can at least, appreciate them and let them know we understand what they did.

Hundreds of health care workers gave their lives for others when no one else could help. For years now, I’ve seen the love and dedication of the Mansion aides.

I wish I could do more, I’m glad we are doing this.
