Fate loves people, but not dogs. The only dog I’ve ever seen her love is Red. Fate reminds me of Rose in many ways. Rose didn’t like other dogs either.

I would say Fate does not love Zinnia and wants nothing to do with her. She doesn’t play with her, sleep near her, or pay much attention to her.

Zinnia is always coming up to Fate with a toy in her mouth or some present, and Fate usually shows her teeth to Zinnia, as in “get away from me.”

Zinnia doesn’t seem to mind or even notice. Fate doesn’t bother Zinnia (she sometimes tries to grab her bones or treats), but no, she doesn’t love her. She is coming to tolerate her, I think.

Fate loves being around sheep and she loves people, Maria and me. She’s fonder of Bud, but she doesn’t have all that much time for him either. When she isn’t with Maria in her studio or working, Fate is usually off by herself.
