Maria’s belly dancing group, based in Bennington, Vt. has been unable to meet ever since the pandemic broke out. The plan was to practice regularly at Bedlam Farm.

Today, they found a big and comfortable space in a former mill in Bennington. But they came here to meet and practice.

The plan was to stay here until they found a suitable space, but that won’t be necessary now.

We really enjoyed having them. Belly dancing has become such an important part of Maria’s life, she is thrilled they have had a place to meet. I came out to take a photo but stayed out of their way.

They are serious about their practices, men are not especially welcome. They are impressive people.
