The solar panels are up, the ditch is filled in, and being smoothed over, the remaining work is electrical – hooking the solar platform into our power line. On many days, this will be more powerful than we need, and the excess power will be distributed equally among our neighbors, no charge to them.

This is pretty cool, a big step for our farm, and our own sense of moving forward. We have about an hour to go, and later this afternoon, Liz Lewis, our shearer will be coming to shear the sheep.
