Aging With Irony And Style

by Jon Katz

I ordered a new pair of glasses online, they are blue, the first pair of glasses I’ve ever ordered with a bright color, and I also bought them online, which was pretty interesting also.

The glasses cost about $200 less than they usually do, and there was a very wide selection. I had to take a couple of photos of myself – they are fussy about the measurements, which is good.

I am not changing my jeans or shirts – blue to the end, but I like the idea of adding color to the top and the bottom – glasses and socks. I need a new prescription and my frames are getting rocky.

Into the new world, again and again. I’m planning on aging with irony and style – and self-awareness too.

  1. Careful, you might be mistaken for Al Roker when you start wearing your Blue Glasses. It’s fun that so many men are embracing color in unique ways.

    1. Hmmm..it would be odd to be confused with Al Roker on many levels..but I’ll look out for it..”)

  2. I got some blue framed glasses about 3 months ago and have been noticing a lot of people on television, including the governor of Ohio, have been sporting them. It’s a great look! You’ll wear them well.
