Edward Hopper brought me to the love of curtains blowing in the warm wind in an old farmhouse. His paintings were often lonely, and very emotional. There is something about curtains moving like that does seem sad, or perhaps iconic.
Zinnia seemed to think so too, she started at the curtains moving in and out in the kitchen and the bathroom beyond in the soft afternoon breeze for the longest time. There is something hypnotic about them.
I used my photo/painting Hopper app.
What app did you use to create the Hooper dog effect? Thank you.
Your “Hopper Dog” is wonderful! I love the movement of the curtains and Zinnia looking towards the window. The entire composition is delightful. Which app did you use? I’d love to try it on some photos of mine.
Re. Understanding Trump, your series has been helping me understand better the people who support him. Thank you for having those conversations with people in your community who are facing ruin during these hard times. Urban or rural, people are suffering everywhere.
Wow! I love this picture as you’ve edited it!
