The first thing I did after I got home with my new 2020 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid was go on Chewys.com and order a black quilted dog seat cover.

I love having a squeaky clean new car (the Highlander was 11 years old and had hosted lots of dogs) which I know will be dirty soon.

I accept that, but in the meantime, I’d like for it to be clean for at least a few weeks.

I have a big and very white  YellowLabrador. This phrase will strike horror into the hearts of any person who hopes to have a clean car with black seats.

I like the new seat cover, it’s comfortable for the dog and is easy to vacuum. I’m going to vacuum the car once a week, I just ordered a portable high-powered cordless vacuum designed just for dog hair.

I plan to keep on it, at least for a while. The car seat will help. I’m going to fight for this car.
