The sheep, like much of America these days, are a bit pissy. They want to get out of their paddock and into the pastures, which are just greening up.
We keep the pastures locked now so the grassroots will have a chance to take hold and deepen. It is frustrating to the sheep to smell the grass on the other side of the fence, they are sick of hay.
But we will keep giving them hay for a few more weeks, or until the grass comes up thicker than it is now. Our pastures have to last about six months. Once a summer.
They are grumpy and restless and watching them, I see that I am the same way. Who isn’t, really? But something to watch.
Love the fresh changes to the logo – spring is time for a change!
