Every Spring, I get out my much loved monochrome Canon and take a black and white photo of some very colorful flowers. I do this because I believe that imagining color we know is there can be just as beautiful as seeing the color.
Because we can’t see it, we automatically picture it. The color image is right below.
I love this exercise in playing with my expectations and imagination.
Each photo has its own beauty, but I do rejoice in the various new colors of pansies.
