“Forgive me, Red,” I thought to myself as I watched Fate and Zinnia have a blast doing outruns around the sheep, loving to run, but showing no real interest in herding.
I loved working with Red, he was the consummate border collie professional and a wonderful therapy dog and companion. But what can I say? It is what it is, as the saying goes. And they are having fun, which is no small thing in the morning these days.
Come and see.
I sometimes fantasize about getting a puppy, but at my age and physical condition, that really wouldn’t be very smart. So, when I see what wonderful babysitters/playmates you have with Fate and Bud, who wear out your puppy Zinnia, I am convinced that I would be a better owner of a senior dog! What a fortunate combination of dog energy you have!
Molly an adult dog would be so grateful. Once they are grown, even at just 4 years, so many people pass them by.
We need all flavors of people to support all flavors of dog. My older neighbor just got a puppy and it doesn’t make me want one, makes me glad I can be a dog auntie and enjoy her and then leave!
That was fantastic! I love Fate’s concentration, even when Zinnia cuts her off! Love to see these 2 Joy dogs!
Hysterical. I needed that. Thanks!
I notice that each time Fate races out to get the sheep, Zinnia’s enthusiasm wanes.
This is great!! Just what we needed – so joyful and simple. thanks Jon
