When Zinnia arrived in October of 2019, she was half the size of Bud, a tough little Boston Terrier squirt. He immediately pegged her as his playmate, grabbing her treats, chasing her around flipping her over when they wrestled.

He was the boss.

Things have changed. Bud, who is fearless and thinks he is a Rottweiler, is undaunted, he has adopted new strategies – tripping Zinnia, throwing her off balance, getting her to roll over. He is agile while she is…well not graceful.

This morning, things didn’t work out so well for Bud at first, he found himself lying under a very different Zinnia.  She may turn out to be a dinosaur yet.

Bud squiggled out, grabbed her tail, spun her around, dove under and rolled her over on her back.

Zinna loved every minute of it, but then, Zinnia loves just about everything. Bud is a valiant dog, absolutely nothing can keep him down. If you are down or anxious, just print out this photo or use it as a screen saver.
