Come and see our Rainbow Connection Video, for the Mansion Residents (under lock orders, no visitors) and also for the refugee and inner-city students at Bishop Maginn High School who are cut off from their friends and teachers.
Some children in Philadelphia and Boston and Brooklyn started making rainbows to send to each other online and post in their windows for friends to drive or walk by, a way of saying hello.
The rainbows are also a way of telling the world that we miss our friends are all in this together. The rainbows are popping up on maps, online groups, and house windows.
We are sending this video over to the Mansion and also Sue Silverstein at Bishop Maginn.
We’re going to hang our rainbow outside the front windows at the Mansion to remind the residents we haven’t forgotten them, and think of them every day.
We hope they will make their own rainbow and hang it where the outside world can see it. Come and see the video we’re sending to the places we love and the people we miss.
