I’m putting Zinnia to work from the farm. Therapy dogs don’t have to be there to lift the spirits of people. Zinnia seems able to do it with her eyes. Just look at her eyes in this photo and I believe you will smile.
Zinnia is getting big but she is still a puppy. Just look into her eyes.
Try it. We will be doing regular therapy work at home during the great era of Social Distancing, (Josep Stalin is smiling in his tomb, (at the words, not the purpose.)
A doctor friend e-mailed me this message: “Stay away from people for a while, but for God’s Sake, don’t stay at home. Nothing could be less healthy!”
This is advice I respect, and she teaches about infectious diseases.
Zinnia has the sweetest face I’ve ever seen! Her photos just lift me up so much. Keep showing us as many “good” things as you can Jon! And, I do so agree your doctor friend about not staying at home. I pretty much keep the TV off now because of all the dire predictions (true or not) from all the “experts” out there. I’m just keeping busy reading a lot of books and living my life as normally as possible. I’ve put in a regular grocery order to be delivered this coming Wednesday morning, the earliest I could get, but it remains to be seen if it will actually arrive. Not losing any sleep over it though.
You are wise…
You have no idea Jon of how happy I will be to have the Zinnia therapy, especially if our Government has it’s way and soon won’t let us leave our homes for up to 12 weeks. Fortunately for me I’m a fairly antisocial pensioner who is happy to be in her own home, but it will be difficult for those who want to have a social life.
Thanks, Clare, I think it will be difficult for everyone, I think there will be limits, but I don’t think we will be barred from going outside and walking or getting to see friends. Probably not a rich time for social people, unless you count yakking online.
Sweet baby girl, you do bring a smile ? to my face!
Yes, you do, Sweet Baby Girl! Photos of Zinnia are the BEST PRESCRIPTION EVER! Please make sure we get at least one a day, Jon! (And of the other critters as well.)
Thanks so much Jon!! I sure did need that this morning!?
