I went on the Bronx Zoo website this morning to see if I could get a peek at the penguin I’m going to spend time with on Sunday, my Valentine’s Day gift from Maria.

We also hope to meet the Hissing Madagascar Cockroach – Maria’s present – that she named in honor of her friend Jackie. He lives in a tree in the Madagascar exhibit.

I found a video showing the zoo’s penguins, and I have to say I like the look of these Penguins, they are small and pretty vocal (kind of like Maria.) You can see them for yourselves.

I get 30 minutes with one of them, and yes, I am bringing my camera.
