Today, Zinnia gets to ride with us to the Vermont Knitting Mill where we will pick up Maria’s yarn and roving. Zinnia will get some face time with the Alpacas at the mill, we’ll see how that goes.
Red wanted no part of Alpacas. Zinnia is a great rider, she’s quiet and sleeps for most of the ride. Maria and I love this ritual and it is cleansing and healing after an intense week for both of us.
Zinnia, like many Labs, is a great car dog. Maria and I are both looking forward to this trek.
The Scrubs campaign for the Mansion aides is on, I finally have my list and have begun ordering scrubs for the staff. I could use some additional money to finish it off. Scrubs will help these very hard-working men and women, they don’t make much money.
Scrubs are not awfully expensive, but things are always a bit more expensive than I think they will be. I am eager to get back to doing some good, and away from death and disappointment.
You can donate via Paypal, [email protected] or by check, Jon Katz, Scrubs, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816. And thank you.
