I sat like a cat in the window of the living room as the sun came up on the other side of one of our small fish tanks, containing a mild-mannered Siamese Fighting Fish, a red shrimp, and a small snail.

With the sun up, the tank is a riot of color and the flowers in the window sill offered themselves up as a backdrop. What a neat way to see a fish tank, with all of the distortions of a round glass bowl and a strong and rising sun.

I like this interpretation of a fish tank, especially in this cold and wintry day.
