Zinnia adores Fate and is trying to emulate her out in the pasture every morning, where she now joins us for our morning chores.

Fate is built like a cheetah, she can run forever. Zinnia is built like a Lab, for short hauls and swims.

Those big stumpy paws and thick legs are no match for Fate, who has been clocked at 50 miles an hour. This does not deter Zinnia in the least, she gamely chases Fate and tries to keep up with her, and is bewildered when Fate leaves her in the dust and shoots out ahead of her.

Zinnia never gets discouraged or deterred. Every time Fate runs around the sheep, Zinnia tries to follow her and fails. Ten seconds later, she’s right back at it. She loves her big sister but is learning about the limits of love.
