We got started a day early in our More Good For 2020 campaign. Zinnia went to work cheering up Georgianna, who is a little blue over the holidays. We left her smiling.
And Zinnia dozed peacefully while I did my weekly story reading at the Mansion. We drew a big crowd.
I want to thank those of us in the Army Of Goodwill. I get the sense we will need each other this year, It is so wonderful to know you are there, you make so many good things possible.
We committed many Small Acts of Great Kindless last year, I’m plotting even more this year.
And I appreciate your paying me for the work I do. It’s a good thing for me to accept, and yes, it took me long enough.
We will stay small and focused, building carefully and cautiously on what we have learned about helping people. I’ll keep those focused Wish Lists coming.
I want to thank those of you for supporting my blog and my work, I appreciate it. The Army Of Good is my work now, and it’s the right work for me to be doing. It’s a calling, just like book writing and my photography.
The need is great, the rewards are boundless.
Also, the Mansion Refugee Fund is up to $600 and I have been receiving blog donations for most of the week from all over the country.
For those of you asking me to repeat the donation information, here it is. You can contribute to my blog support and my work via Paypal, [email protected], or by check, Jon Katz, Blog Support, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816.
If you wish to support the Mansion/refugee children’s work, you can donate the same way, except mark your payments “Mansion/Refugee” fund or either one.
I can never really thank you all for your trust and love and support. It has touched an awful lot of lives. I hope it has touched yours as well.
Happy New Year
Would love to subscribe to your blog but I am in Canada. What would the cost be in Canadian funds?
I have no idea, Vicki…the blog is free, you don’t need to pay for it..donations are voluntary..
Wow Zennia! I’m impressed. What a fast, fast grower from pup to dog. I
‘m duly imporessed. Jon told us you’re headed for somewhere in the 80-lb range. I’m watching and enjoying.
I’d say 50 to 60..unlike many I don’t think she will be huge at all..
