Zinnia got the last of her shots and a clean bill of health today at our vets. Dr. Suzanne Fariello said she was at the perfect weight and in perfect health.

She’s cleared and ready to join the wider world of dogs (okay, we have done some of this).

She said she just looked great.

Her shots are all up to date, and she is cleared to enter the world in any way we wish.

Zinnia currently weighs 19.3 lbs and made sure to shower Dr. Fariello and her tech assistant Alyssa with kisses. If she noticed the shots, it didn’t show. Dr. Fariello said she looked great.

We made plans to have her spayed after her first heat, sometime in the Spring. She’s on monthly worming and heartworm medications.

We also put on a show for Suzanne, I got Zinnia to sit, stay, come and lie down. Suzanne things dogs pass on some messages to one another in their own way.

She thinks Red somehow told Zinnia to take care of me. I’m starting to believe that myself.
