This is the year of the two-day storm, we’re getting another tonight through Tuesday. Flo and Minnie came out of the basement to catch a day of sunshine while they can. They’ll be back in the basement this afternoon.

Maria has created an inviting cat world in the basement, which never gets colder than 55 degrees and is warmed by an oil heater when it gets colder. There are two dog beds, trays of litter, freshwater, and of course, all kind of mice.

They also get fed twice a day down there. Flo and Minnie are both getting older, they love their winter basement residence, and always seem to know just when to come in.
