Zinnia is growing up, beginning the transition from puppy to dog. She’s seven weeks old and just weighed in at 8.5 pounds. She’s going to be pretty big. Lenore says she’s getting a bit spunky, I can see it in her eyes now.
She also says she’s very sweet, and I can see that too. I like the fact that Lenore can pose Zinnia in toy trucks, flower beds and on scales and she seems okay with it.
That, to me, is a calm and trainable puppy. Eight days away from bringing her home. Love those baleful eyes, but I also see a bit of the devil in there.
My daughter had to say goodbye to her Yellow Lab of 15 years. Jess was bought with intentions of being her husband’s hunting partner. Jess wanted no part of hunting with a man and a gun. But for all those 15 years she would drag all kinds of creatures and creature body parts to the front porch. She loved people and was content being in a perpetual cuddle. I hope you and Maria enjoy many good years with Zinnia.
All of us out here in the BLOG world love ZINNIA already!
Oh, my goodness. She is so adorable! I can see that it will be very hard to keep from getting wrapped around her little paw.
What a beautiful pup.. I know she will be adored.
