Zinnia: Getting To Be A Dog

by Jon Katz

I appreciate Lenore Severni’s faithful text to me about Zinnia and her evolution from a newborn creature to a little dog. I think I can spot her, she’s probably over in the right corner, a bit back from the crowds, looking up at Lenore or whoever is taking the photo.

Zinnia is now 12 days away, less than two weeks. There are beds and pens set up for her at the Mansion and Bishop Maginn High School and soft carpets waiting at Cambridge Dental and Carroll’s Trading Post.

She is already a bit famous, judging from my e-mail. I am fascinated to see her develop a bit day by day. This is a beautiful litter, I think they will all go out into the world and spread some joy.

We’re excited. Thanks, Lenore, for keeping us posted so faithfully. It won’t be long now.

  1. It is a beautiful litter. As a breeder I appreciate the quality, health and uniformity of the litter in the photo. A breeder dedicates decades to producing the kind of quality exhibited. Well done.
