Sue Silverstein’s art class at Bishop Maginn High School was invited by the AlbanyCollegle of Pharmacy and Health Science Collaboratory to design a mural for the college’s entrance hallway.
The painting by Thang Trinh, an exchange student from Vietnam, was selected from a pool of entries and the art class will be sketching the outline of Thang’s painting on Friday.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals has offered to pay for the materials and provide painters as part of their National Day Of Service.
The painting is called “Children Of Peace.” I’m going to try to be there on Friday morning if possible.
