It’s too soon to be certain what Zinnia will be like, but there are signs and clues, especially when I saw her in the whelping box with her six siblings.
She is a middle dog, not too excited, not fearful or wary. She is curious and alert, and almost preternaturally calm and at ease. It sounds like a good potential therapy dog for me.
She goes to sleep instantly when her belly is scratched.
And she is also a wonderful family pet and companion. I had a very powerful feeling holding her today. I realized that I need this dog, she is somehow important to me in a way I haven’t quite grasped or figured out.
I need to think about it.
I had a brief thought about that poor and broken women who wrote a letter to Lenore warning her against giving me a dog, and I shivered at the damage she might have done, and then took a breath of gratitude because no one listened to her, especially Lenore.
The truth is important, and it will out.
Zinnia is a beautiful puppy, you are all going to have wonderful adventures together! So happy for you ?
A new puppy. Is there anything sweeter than a brand new puppy! Much love, and life with this little one! I can’t wait to see all your adventures! Lisa and Rod
Lovely photos!! It is easy to see that you are both hooked, and how fortunate you are!
Enjoy every minute after she comes to you, she is one lucky dog too be heading to a family who will love her and teach her what a good dog should know.
Bon Voyage!
I love the little pink spot above her black nose. Such a cutie.
Awww, she looks like a lovely dog. I wish you all happy days to come.
