Usually, in the day time, Minnie is in one of two places. She’s either dozing on the back porch, or on top of the tallest haystack in the barn, surveying her little kingdom.
Minnie has always been a shy cat – she was a feral kitten – when the mailperson or strangers or the mowers come, she vanished into the recesses of the barn. When I come in, she usually makes an appearance to let me know where she is.
She meows at me two or three times, and then melts again into the background, she can see but not be seen.
