Yesterday, I went into the Shining Sisters antique and restoration shop to buy a $45 table for the Mansion’s new “Soothing” room in their Memory Unit. My eye caught this vase, Leslie said she had just acquired it that morning.

My mind immediately saw it as a possible black and white still life, especially with my used Zeiss lens, which is great for emotion and clarity, especially in black and white.

I bought the vast for $12 and brought it home, Maria loved it and I put some flowers in it and took my still life. I wandered around a bit with my monochrome camera and am putting up a short black and white magazine,  here and on FB.
