Fate and the donkeys are right, she’s been around donkeys her whole life, and unlike Bud, who tries to push them around, the donkeys have completely accepted her as a member of their family.

Donkeys are curious creatures, and they often study Fate – as do I – to try to figure out what she is doing. Sometimes they stand right over her to get the best view. It is heartwarming to see how well animals can adapt to one another, something humans have not yet learned to do.

They are all on the same team, after all, working animals on a farm, thrown together by life.
