It was Robin’s third birthday today, and she opened my present – her own fish tank, which Emma said was a big hit. The tank is made of plastic, holds water, has a bright light and has three fish who swim constantly.
Robin is naming the fish and watching them closely. She loved watching the fish tank here when she came, so I sent her a beginner’s tank. Emma concedes I will one day be getting Robin a real one.
Next week, Robin begins in the pre-school program at the prestigious Brooklyn Friends School, a Quaker school considered one of the best schools in New York.
Robin also wanted a skeleton for some reason, and Emma balked. I just ordered a plastic 19-inch skeleton for her online, it’s on the way.
