This is a new and regular feature of my blog, I’m calling it “Good Vibes.” All the vibes are real and true, and they are, to me, the real news about this country. This is pretty near exclusive to bedlamfarm.com, you will not find it on their news or on cable TV.

Today, I dropped by the Mansion to give Peggy four AA batteries for the Furby Doll I got her for her birthday at her request. When I pulled up, I saw the crew in the Secret Garden  (the Army Of Good bought the chairs and table) just outside the Mansion porch had expanded to three.

Nancy, the Mansion’s newest resident, has joined the lively conversation and occasional cigarette in the happy club formed by Georgianna and Bert. One thing I noticed right away was that all three seemed cold (except for Bert, who was wearing a pink fleece jacket.)

This was the first really chilly morning of the summer, and I could see Georgianna and Nancy shivering a bit, but happy in their non-stop and very genial conversation. As it happened, I had a carful of sweaters and sweatshirts and jackets I got this week from several Thrift shops for the Mansion residents.

Maria pulled some out right there and got a Gap sweatshirt for Georgianna, which fit her perfectly, and a green fleece pullover sweater for Nancy. Bert is small and she says she has enough warm clothes. She said she’ll tell me if she doesn’t.

And yes, I did show up with a pack of cigarettes, Georgianna was eager for one or two.

This is my idea of a good vibe moment, I love these three lively and funny and loving women, it is a pleasure to watch over them.  I believe every good deed spawns a bunch of others.

“Is he sweet at home?,” Georgianna, who was very happy to pull her sweatshirt on,  asked Maria.

“Sometimes,” she said.

I’ll be putting up some good vibe images and stories as I find them. They are a big part of my life.
