In the interests of being open and authentic, I have to come out about the fact that I believe in angels. I believe angels have given me the strength and Courage To Be, and led me to Maria, to my blog, the Mansion and the Bishop Maginn High School and my farm.
They guide me to overcome hardships and failings, to search for a moral way to live my life. They brought me to the people, ideas, books and experiences that have slowly, painfully but steadily helped me to know who I am, face the truth, follow the light of my creative spark, and learn to live a life of meaning.
I believe Maria is either an angel in disguise, or that angels inside of her are radiating love and compassion. How else could I have found her in a remote village in upstate New York with twice as many cows than people? The Kabbalah says angels intervene in our lives, and angels intervened in mine when I had give up.
How else could she have been down the road from me while I was living alone and slowly disintegrating.
I believe you have to believe in miracles in this life, and angels are the miracle makers. If you believe in the angels, they will find you. If you don’t, they will leave you be.
Angels have helped me find the Courage To Be, to accept myself and even love myself.
Angels guided me and the Army Of Good to one another, and taught me the highest call of any human being is empathy and the desire to do good.
Thank you for sharing your angel story. Although I am not an angel it does make me want to be more like one. What a wonderful gift to give someone. Just by a small interaction someone’s day is made a little bit brighter.
And they guided you to Bishop Maginn High School….
Time to take a poll – how many Army of Good believe in angels. I’m banking on 99%!!!
And yes, when we look at the miracles that have happened in our life, like finding Our Person, and see how the dots connect it is pretty profound. Magnetism for sure.
