Red and I took up our morning positions on the hill today above the pasture. Red is as serious about watching the sheep from there as he was up close. We had a visitor this morning, Bud interrupted his rampaging through the marsh in search of mice to come and sit with us for a few minutes, before he spotted a rabbit and took off in pursuit.

I cherish the sweet moments with Red, I never feel closer to him than I do when we are standing together under a beautiful sky watching over our little kingdom. Thanks to Maria for taking this photo.
