Emma and Robin and Jay and Maria and I went to Jean’s Place in Hoosick Falls, we love their breakfast, but I also wanted to take a picture of the two Robbins, one who is a much loved person and also waitress at Jean’s – she’s been there more than 20 years – and the other a willful and charismatic two-year-old (soon to be three) who is also named Robin, and who is my granddaughter.
Brooklyn people can be snobs about food, but everybody loves the pancakes and Corned Beef Hash at Jean’s.
Robin the waitress is a generous, loving and attentive hostess, and she and Robin hit it off. The two Robbins each seemed to get each other and Robin the waitress said the other Robin’s curls were amazing.
Big Robin is thinking of visiting Maria’s Belly Dancing Class to see if she would be interested in joining the group. Jean’s has become a fixture in our lives, we fell in love with from the first visit. Robin the granddaughter seemed to like it as well.
