The young artist Blue just keeps growing and growing, to our delight and amazement and the great support from  her teacher, Sue Silverstein. This week, she showed me her newest and largest work – 18 by 24″ – and I am offering it up for sale for $75, free shipping.

Blue has sold every single painting we’ve offered up for sale. This is yet another step forward for her. She keeps telling me she’s “lazy” because it takes a day or so to finish her paintings. I am trying to explain to her that this isn’t laziness, it’s creativity.

Paintings like hers aren’t done in a couple of minutes. Her painting sales – all on the blog so far – have greatly boosted her confidence and her sense of herself as an artist.

She’s coming to visit Maria soon in her studio. I am  proud to be selling the paintings of Blue, Asher and Paw Lway Shee, all in Sue Silverstein’s magical art class at Bishop Maginn.
