The image was taken a week after we applied lime and fertilizer to our back pasture.
Over these few years, the animals – pony, sheep, donkeys – had simply worn the pasture down, there was little grass this year.
We spent nearly $1,000 to restore our pastures, it seemed miraculous to us to see all of this fresh green grass this week. The animals were very happy. It was worth every penny.
The pastures are the heart of our farm, they need care and attention.
There was a great sense of rebirth when we went out in the morning with the sheep and Fate – Red was behind watching from the hill – and saw all the clover and grass waving in the wind.
There was a beautiful morning sky and a sense of rebirth and renewal.
We love taking care of our farm. We wish we could do the same for our earth. I’m happy to put this image up for sale.
